BAKED STEW

2 lb. stew meat, cut into bite-size pieces
1 cup chopped onions
2 cups potatoes, cut up
2 cups carrots, sliced
2 cups chopped celery
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
5 tablespoons tapioca
1 teaspoon sugar
3 cups V-8 juice

Arrange ingredients in preceding order in baking dish. Do not stir. Cover and bake for 5 hours at 250 degrees.
