FAVORITE PUMPKIN PIE

3 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 3/4 cups canned pumpkin
1 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup water

Mix beaten eggs, sugar, spices, salt and pumpkin well. Add milk and water and stir until mixture is smooth. Pour into a 9-in. pastry shell. Bake in 450 degree oven for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue to bake for 45 minutes or until mixture is firm and crust is well-browned.
