CREAMY PEA SALAD

1- 10 oz. pkg. frozen peas, thawed
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped celery
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup sour cream
1/8 tsp. whole basil leaves
9 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 cup chopped cashews (or water chestnuts)

Combine first 7 ingredients, stirring gently. Chill 3-4 hours. Stir in bacon and cashews. Serve on lettuce leaves.
