2 lb. ground beef
1 tablespoon minced onion
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup crumbled saltine crackers
2 cups herbal tomato sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon mustard
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Combine ground beef, minced onion, salt, pepper, and crackers. Mix well.
Form into small balls. Mix together the herbal sauce, brown sugar, mustard,
and Worcestershire sauce. Lightly brown the meatballs on low heat or in the
microwave. Combine sauce and meatballs. Simmer in slow cooker for several
hours for flavor. *You may also use cocktail franks in this recipe.
