CABBAGE SOUP

8 cups cabbage, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 stick margarine
Bacon, kibalsa, or ham
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup half&half or evaporated milk
1 1/2 cups water

Cook first three ingredients over low heat until cabbage and onions are tender. Add sliced meat of choice and cook about 3 or 4 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients and heat thoroughly. Serve.
