Dinosaur Stencils

Ideas for using the stencils:
- Let students use stencils to draw dinosaurs and make a scene around them.
- Place a white sheet of paper over stencil and rub with crayon or pencil to make a drawing.
- Use the stencils to trace the dinosaurs, then brush thinned glue onto picture and place tissue paper squares atop the
glue. These make cute craft projects.
- After using stencils to make dinosaurs, cut out dinosaur and cut into pieces for puzzles for students to put together.
- Trace dinosaur stencil on poster board and then glue different macaroni and beans onto the form.
- Using a dark blue or black sheet of construction paper, trace dinosaur stencil onto paper with chalk. Spray with hairspray
to set---then use styrofoam peanuts to build the dinosaur's skeleton. Use can also use dark paper and cooked spaghetti to make the skeleton.
- Make the stencils sturdier by tracing them onto three pound coffee can lids.
