Arlene My mom has been always been there for me through thick and thin. When I was a sweet young girl, she was there by my side; when I was a rebellious teenager, she still was by side; and now that I am an adult and we are so many miles away from one another, she is still there beside me. I couldn't have asked for a better mom, I think I got the BEST mom in the world. Although I didn't think that when I was younger but as an adult and as a mom myself, I learned to be a mother by her. I remember when I was younger I always use to say, "I don't want to be like my mother!" Now I am just like her in many ways and wouldn't change that for the world. I wish I could hug her more often and just tell her how very much I love her and to just feel that mommy hug again. I know she is but a phone call away but sometimes it isn't enough. I would give anything to be able to have some time with my mom again and do things with her as mother and daughter, something we have never done. I love you, MOMMY!
